【摘要】:ThissafetyStandardcoversthedesign,construction,installation,operation,inspection,testing,maintenance,andrepairofinclinedstairwaychairliftsandinclinedandverticalplatformliftsintendedfortransportationofamobilityimpairedpersononly.Thedeviceshallhavealimitedverticaltravel,operatingspeed,andplatformarea.Operationshallbeundercontinuouscontroloftheuser/attendant.Thedeviceshallnotpenetratemorethanonefloor.Afullpassengerenclosureontheplatformshallbeprohibited.EquipmentnotcoveredbythisStandardincludes,butisnotlimitedto,thefollowing:(a)elevators,escalators,movingwalkways,materiallifts,anddumbwaiterswithinthescopeofASMEA17.1b–1997andlateredition(b)personnelhoistswithinthescopeofANSIA10.4(c)manliftswithinthescopeofASMEA90.1(d)poweredplatformandequipmentforexteriorandinteriorbuildingmaintenancewithinthescopeofASMEA120.1(e)portableequipment(f)amusementdevices(g)stageandorchestralifts
