【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcovershot-rolledandcold-rolledalloyandstructuralalloy-steelsheetandstrip.Alloysteelisfurnishedtochemicalcompositionrequirementsandisintendedprimarilyforgeneralormiscellaneoususewherebendingandmoderateformingisarequirement.Structuralalloysteelisfurnishedtochemicalcompositionrequirementsandtospecificmechanicalpropertyrequirementswhichmayincludetensiontests,hardnesstests,orothercommonlyacceptedmechanicaltests.1.2Ifmaterialofahigherdegreeofuniformityofinternalsoundnessandfreedomfromsurfaceimperfectionsisrequired,referenceshouldbemadetoSpecificationA507.1.3Alloyandstructuralalloy-steelsheetandstriparenotproducedtointernalcleanlinessrequirements.Normallysurfaceimperfectionsarenotobjectionable,andagoodfinishisnotaprimerequirement.1.4Theformabilityofstructuralalloysteeldecreaseswithincreasingyieldstrengthorhardness.Therefore,productdesigninrelationtothemechanicalpropertiesofthegradeusedmustbeconsidered.1.5Thematerialcoveredbythisspecificationmaybefurnishedinseveralconditions:heattreatments,surfaceconditions,andedges,asspecifiedherein,incoilsorcutlengths.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.SIunitsareprovidedforinformationonly.
