【摘要】:ThisstandardestablishesauniformrelationshipbetweenshaftsizeandkeysizeforparallelandtaperkeysretainingsimilarbasicsizingasfoundinthewithdrawnB17.1-1943standard.Thisstandardcoversthesize,typeandtolerancesofparallelandtaperkeysandkeyseats,andtheirrelationshiptoshaftdiametersandborediameters.Thesizesandtolerancescontainedinthisstandardareintendedforsinglekeyapplicationsonly.Keystrengthandsteelanalysisenteringintothemakeupofstockforkeysisnotwithinthescopeofthisstandard.Shaftdiametersarelistedforidentificationofvariouskeysizesandarenotintendedtoestablishshaftdimensions,tolerancesorselections.
